  Minister: Swedish IT firm to create 1000 jobs in Armenia in 2021 February 10, 2021 - 15:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A Swedish IT firm with a market capitalization of $20-22 billion is planning to create more than 1000 jobs in Armenia in 2021, Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan said Tuesday, February 9, without naming the company. In an interview with Shant TV, Kerobyan said the company is among the biggest ones in its field, having already established branches in Georgia and a number of other countries. The Minister said pursuing the right policy with investors is key, given that they are often "pushed off" on many levels of the public administration system. According to him, a number of European and American companies are in the process of investing in Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said earlier that the turnover of companies in the field of information technologies in Armenia grew by 20% to reach $400 million. The Armenian PM also noted that the sphere of advanced and digital technologies is the fastest growing sector of economy in the country.
