Sarkissian returns to Armenia after Covid-19 treatment in London

PanARMENIAN.Net - President Armen Sarkissian returned to Armenia last week, his office said Monday, February 15. The President will continue his treatment in Yerevan, weeks after being hospitalized with coronavirus in the United Kingdom.

Sarkissian had traveled to London to spend the Christmas holidays with his family. He had also undergone a successful leg surgery in the British capital.

The President was at first receiving treatment at home and working remotely, but his condition deteriorated with time. According to a press release from his office, Sarkissian had all the symptoms of the coronavirus infection, including fever and double pneumonia.
