Two Armenian athletes qualify for Tokyo Olympics

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two freestyle wrestlers have qualified for Tokyo Olympics, the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport reports.

Arsen Harutyunyan and Vazgen Tevanyan, both students of the university, secured their place at the upcoming Olympic Games at a tournament in Budapest.

The 2020 Summer Olympics is scheduled to be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021 in Tokyo, Japan. Originally due to take place from July 24 to August 9, 2020, the event was postponed in March 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
