Kocharyan confident he can ensure economic success if elected

PanARMENIAN.Net - Second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan believes it is possible to achieve economic success in the country. After a recent meeting with supporters, Kocharyan posted a short excerpt from his speech on his Facebook page Tuesday, April 27.

"If I were not sure that it is possible to achieve the economic success of 1998-2007, I would not submit an application for participation in these elections," Kocharyan said.

"Yes, I am convinced we can achieve victory."

Kocharyan has said earlier that he is "coming to power to bring dignified peace" to Armenia. The ex-president has revealed he will head a bloc of parties at snap parliamentary elections scheduled for June 20.
