Armenian President congratulates Pashinyan on election win

PanARMENIAN.Net - President Armen Sarkissian on Tuesday, June 22 congratulated acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on his party's victory in the parliamentary elections on June 20.

Sarkissian wished success to the government "for the benefit of Armenia's further development, progress, people's welfare and state security."

Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party won 53.92% of the vote, while Hayastan (Armenia) bloc headed by second President Robert Kocharyan secured 21.4% of the ballots. "I Have Honor" bloc too will get seats in the parliament.
