Pashinyan pledges to work on return of all Armenian PoWs

PanARMENIAN.Net - Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Thursday, July 15 that the Armenian side has so far managed to have 104 prisoners of war returned from Azerbaijan, and that the process is underway.

Pashinyan spoke about Azerbaijan's destructive policy during a Cabinet meeting and said that Baku, despite its commitments, has not yet returned all the Armenian prisoners of war.

"In any event, we are going to continue cooperation with out international partners on the return of our PoWs, the comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," the caretaker PM said.

He noted that Azerbaijan not only violates the November 10 statement, but also tries to disrupt the process of unblocking the regional infrastructure as stipulated for in the January 11 trilateral statement.
