Remains of four more war victims recovered in Karabakh

The remains of four more Nagorno-Karabakh victims were recovered on Monday, August 2 from Varanda (Fizuli), which came under Azerbaijan's control during the 44-day in fall 2020, authorities report.

The bodies will be identified through DNA analysis, Karabakh's State Service for Emergency Situations said.

Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1623 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
