Vahagn Khachaturyan named Armenia's Minister of High Tech IndustryAugust 4, 2021 - 18:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Vahagn Khachaturyan has been appointed Armenia's Minister of High Tech Industry, according to a decree signed by President Armen Sarkissian. Sarkissian earlier re-appointed Nikol Pashinyan as the country's Prime Minister and Mher Grigoryan as his Deputy. The President also reappointed Anahit Avanesyan, Andranik Piloyan, Vahram Dumanyan and Vahan Kerobyan as the Minister of Health, the Minister of Emergency Situations, the Minister Education, Science, Culture and Sport, and the Minister of Economy, respectively. In addition, he named former Human Rights Defender Karen Andreasyan as Justice Minister, and former Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan as Minister of Finance. On August 3, Sarkissian signed decrees to appoint Suren Papikyan and Arshak Karapetyan as Armenia's new Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, respectively.
