Armenia joining CSTO's Indestructible Brotherhood-2021 drills

About 800 servicemen from six countries, including Armenia, will take part in the CSTO peacekeeping exercise Indestructible Brotherhood-2021 to be held in Kazan this November, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reports.

Final negotiations on preparation ahead of the drill have already concluded at the Kazan Higher Military Command School.

“Military delegations from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan inspected the venue for practical action, determined the forces and means that will take part in the exercise. Thus, in total, about 800 servicemen will take part in joint practical action,” the statement said.

90 pieces of equipment of the Russian Armed Forces will also be involved in the exercise, including two Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters, Su-24MR and Su-34 aircraft.

Representatives of other ministries and departments of the CSTO member states will also attend the exercise.
