Zas talks border situation at Armenia's Security Council

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of Armenia's Security Council Bureau Hayk Petrosyan on Monday, August 9 met with the Secretary General of the CSTO Stanislav Zas, who arrived in Armenia on a working visit earlier in the day.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, recent developments and the possibility of using CSTO mechanisms in the process of the peaceful settlement of the situation.

Zas earlier discussed the regional situation with Armen Grigoryan, Armenia's acting Foreign Minister.

The two also weighed in on draft documents, which will be discussed at the forthcoming meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Council in Tajikistan in September, as well as the preparation of priorities for the forthcoming chairmanship of Armenia in the organization.
