Manvel Khndzrtsyan, also representing Armenia and fighting in the 57 kg category, won bronze. Levik Mikayelyan (61 kg), David Margaryan (65 kg), Narek Harutyunyan (70 kg), Armen Musikyan (74 kg) and Sergey Sargsyan (92 kg) too were part of the freestyle team.
