Armenia: 834 Covid-19 patients in critical or serious condition

PanARMENIAN.Net - 142 people infected with Covid-19 in Armenia are in critical conditions, 692 others are in serious condition, while 60 patients are placed on ventilators, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said in an interview with the Armenian Service of RFE/RL on Wednesday, September 15.

Avanesyan said all the patients needing inpatient treatment have been hospitalized in 17 medical institutions around the country, but hospital beds are running out.

According to the Health Minister, the Delta variant currently accounts for 90% of all the cases being registered in Armenia each day.

Avanesyan also revealed that vaccination in Armenia has caused no serious health consequences, with those getting the jabs reporting only fever or other typical symptoms.
