Defense, Foreign Minister miss CSTO meeting due to plane malfunction

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has not traveled to Dushanbe due to aircraft malfunction, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vahan Hunanyan said on Wednesday, September 15, according to Aysor.am․

Hunanyan added, however, that the Foreign Minister will leave for Dushanbe to participate in a key CSTO meeting on Thursday.

Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan, who was supposed to embark on the same plane, has not departed either, the Defense Ministry confirmed later in the day.

The two were supposed to join Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan at a meeting of the Foreign Ministers, Defense Ministers and Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils.
