Tbilisi offers Yerevan to host days celebrating each other

PanARMENIAN.Net - Tbilisi mayor Kakha Kaladze has proposed to hold Tbilisi Days in Yerevan and Yerevan Days in the Georgian capital.

Kaladze made the remarks when hosting an Armenian delegation headed by the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan, the Yerevan Municipality reports.

The Mayor of Tbilisi noted that this visit is another opportunity to outline the upcoming tasks and discuss new programs, citing warm relations between the two sister cities.

Hovhannisyan noted that Yerevan attaches great importance to deepening cooperation with Tbilisi in various fields. The Deputy mayor also acknowledged that holding the Days of Culture in the two capitals will give a new quality to both friendly and partnership ties.

During the meeting, the parties weighed in on ways to develop mutually beneficial and effective cooperation in the interests of the residents of both capitals.
