Wounded Karabakh soldier in serious but stable state

PanARMENIAN.Net - One of the Nagorno-Karabakh soldiers wounded in Azerbaijan's recent provocation is still in a serious but stable state, Armenia's Human Rights Defender said Thursday, August 11.

The representatives of the Human Rights Defender's office visited the nine soldiers who are currently receiving treatment in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

According to a statement from the HRD's office, the health condition of the servicemen was discussed with the medical staff of the hospital. Seven soldiers are in a satisfactory condition, while another's health has been assessed as moderate.

On August 3, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched an attack and attempted to cross the line of contact in a number of sections of the northern and northwestern border zone. Azerbaijan used UAVs and grenade launchers, killing two Armenian servicemen and injuring 19 others.
