EU observers meet with U.S. ambassador in Goris![]() March 28, 2025 - 15:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Christina Quinn visited the European Union Mission’s operational center in Goris as part of her trip to Syunik Province. During the visit, EU observers briefed her on the current situation along the border. “It was an honor to host Ambassador Christina Quinn at our operational office in Goris, where she was presented with an overview of the EU Monitoring Mission’s work and recent developments along the border,” the mission posted on X. Ambassador Quinn also toured the Tatev Hydropower Plant, part of ContourGlobal Hydro Cascade CJSC, which is one of the largest American investments in Armenia, according to the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan. In addition, she visited the Saint Hripsime Church, a unique example of Armenia’s early medieval architecture and one of Syunik Province’s most notable historical and cultural landmarks. Ambassador Quinn reaffirmed the importance of preserving Armenia’s cultural and religious heritage everywhere. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
