Kocharyan targets me since 2008, says Sargsyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former President Serzh Sargsyan has claimed that the process of being politically targeted by his predecessor, Robert Kocharyan, began in 2008. He made the statement in response to Kocharyan’s recent interview, according to Auroranews.am .

“I don’t think this process started in 2018. If you watched the second president’s interview carefully, he clearly says it began on his part after 2008,” Sargsyan stated during a conversation with reporters.

In the interview, Kocharyan asserted that the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) rose to power during his presidency.

“It’s a major question—who actually supported whom during their political formation? Making such claims touches even on moral grounds. If it becomes necessary to form a coalition to remove the current authorities, I don’t think we’ll have any other choice. However, I don’t see any possibility of running in elections together,” he added.
