Armenia, France discuss expanding military ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, participated in the European Land Forces Commanders' Conference in Germany, held under the auspices of the U.S. European Command.

As part of the conference, Asryan held a working meeting with General Pierre Schilli, Commander of the French Land Forces.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various directions of cooperation between the Armenian and French armed forces.

General-Lieutenant Asryan also held several informal meetings with senior military officials from the United States and European land forces.
