Armenia, Slovenia highlight cooperation in various fields![]() September 2, 2025 - 18:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 2, within the framework of the Bled Strategic Forum, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan met with Melita Gabric, State Secretary at Slovenia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reported. The two sides praised the level of political dialogue established between Armenia and Slovenia, emphasizing the importance of ensuring continuity and deepening bilateral contacts. They discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in economic, investment, education, information technology, tourism, and other fields. Kostanyan expressed gratitude for Slovenia’s humanitarian programs implemented in Armenia. The meeting also touched upon Armenia–EU relations, where the study of Slovenia’s experience in the process of European Union accession was considered particularly important. Kostanyan briefed his counterpart on the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan during the Washington talks, as well as on Armenia’s approach to upcoming steps aimed at establishing peace. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
