In a Facebook post, he wrote: "Violence has no place in the Republic of Armenia. Those who incite or resort to violence must be identified and held accountable both politically and legally. We must also develop effective mechanisms to detect and address psychological and moral violence. While this is linked to physical violence, it is a separate issue and does not alter our understanding of physical violence," Pashinyan stated. On December 8, lawyer Ruben Melikyan reported that Mihran Hakobyan, a member of the opposition Republican Party of Armenia, was attacked and hospitalized at Izmirlian Medical Center. The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed it received a report regarding the incident. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
