MP Aghazaryan accused of soliciting bribes in two cases

A criminal case involving Armenian National Assembly member Hovik Aghazaryan has been transferred to court, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General, as reported by Auroranews.am .

According to the case files, Aghazaryan allegedly demanded $200,000 in exchange for mediating the export of 150,000–200,000 small livestock animals without quarantine. Additionally, he is accused of seeking $23,000 to facilitate the approval of a construction permit for a multi-apartment building on property belonging to a school.
