Narek Apitonyan named deputy infrastructure minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - Narek Apitonyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure. The decision was signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Guided by Article 9, Part 1 of the Law on Public Service, Narek Apitonyan is hereby appointed Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure,” the official order states.

Prior to 2011, Apitonyan worked in the private sector. In 2024, he became a senior engineer at the control panel of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant’s electricity unit. In 2025, he was named acting director general of the Electric Power System Operator CJSC.
