PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no reports of Armenian citizens among the victims of the recent armed clashes in Aleppo, Syria, Armenia’s Foreign Ministry told Radar Armenia.

“The Consulate General of Armenia in Aleppo maintains continuous contact with local authorities and representatives of the Armenian community. At this time, there is no information indicating the presence of Armenian citizens among the deceased,” the ministry stated.

Authorities added that emergency contact numbers are available on the consulate’s social media platforms, with staff responding 24/7.

Fighting recently broke out in Aleppo between Syrian government forces and Kurdish units, leading to civilian casualties. Residents have been reported fleeing from Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods. While no injuries among Armenians have been confirmed, all schools remain closed, and memorial day events have been canceled.
