Armenian, Azerbaijani border panels to meet soon

PanARMENIAN.Net - Narek Minasyan, a member of the Peace Bridge initiative, commenting on discussions held in Armenia between Armenian and Azerbaijani civil society representatives, said the issue of Armenia’s occupied territories had been raised.

“There is mutual understanding that the issue should be resolved within the context of the border delimitation process. Moreover, a meeting of the two countries’ border delimitation commissions is planned in the near future,” he said, according to 1lurer.am .

According to him, given that the previous meeting took place in Azerbaijan, it is most likely that this time it will be held in Armenia.

On February 13–14, a bilateral roundtable was held in Armenia within the framework of the Peace Bridge initiative, bringing together representatives of civil society from Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani delegation arrived in Armenia through an already delimited and demarcated section of the land border, completing all required procedures.
