The prime minister noted that his approach and strategy on this issue are clear. “Our sisters and brothers from Karabakh must receive the citizenship of the Republic of Armenia and permanently settle in the Republic of Armenia,” he stated. According to him, the government is already implementing a housing assistance program, under which 4,886 families have so far become beneficiaries. Pashinyan also emphasized that Armenia needs significant support from international partners to resolve this issue and strengthen peace. “We need the greatest possible support from our international partners to resolve this issue aimed at strengthening peace,” he said. On September 19, 2023, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Nagorno-Karabakh, placing the entire territory under massive artillery bombardment.
