Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has issued sharp criticism of opposition-linked oligarchs, questioning both their intellectual capacity and public claims of strength.
Speaking about opposition political figures, Pashinyan said businessman Samvel Karapetyan could go live if he wished and present his views.
He added that “both oligarchs are weak — both in analytical thinking and vocabulary.” According to him, such discussions lack substance, as he questioned what exactly makes his opponents strong and himself weak, reports «Radar Armenia».
“When they raise the issue of strength and weakness, let’s understand what they are strong in and what we are weak in. If those oligarchs can do 30 pull-ups, let them do it live on air. I cannot do 30 pull-ups, but I can cycle 100 km. Let them do pull-ups, I’ll cycle.
What else are they strong in — intellect? Let them go live and show their intellect. I am convinced that both oligarchs are weak — both in analytical thinking and vocabulary,” he said.
Political forces led by businessmen Samvel Karapetyan and Gagik Tsarukyan have announced their participation in the parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7.
