Tatoyan urges voters to choose capable leaders

PanARMENIAN.Net - Citizens should choose those who are capable of governing the state, Arman Tatoyan, the prime ministerial candidate of the Unity Wings Party, said after casting his vote.

“These elections are truly of historic significance. Today, we are deciding our future. We are deciding what kind of country our children will live in,” he said, according to Armenpress.

According to Tatoyan, the greatest danger is missing the opportunity for change.

“I do not want these elections to become a missed opportunity for us, because this concerns every one of us and especially our young people,” he said.

Tatoyan urged young people to participate in the vote, emphasizing that achieving a secure state, modern education and well-paid jobs requires active civic involvement.

“I ask citizens to consider who can genuinely govern the country, who understands the state, who has a vision of what public administration means, and who has proven in difficult times that they can stand by the people,” Tatoyan said.

Eighteen political forces — two alliances and 16 parties — have been registered to participate in Armenia’s parliamentary elections on June 7. Voting began at 8:00 a.m. and will continue until 8:00 p.m. A total of 2,005 polling stations have been established across the country. Seventy-one media outlets have been accredited to cover the elections, while 13 domestic and eight international organizations will conduct election observation missions.
