19 double-voting cases recorded by 5 p.m.

PanARMENIAN.Net - As of 5:00 p.m. on June 7, Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that 57 alerts had been received through the Operational Management Center’s 112 hotline and the 87-67 election hotline.

Authorities recorded:

  • 19 cases of double voting;
  • 15 cases involving violations of voting secrecy;
  • 2 cases of obstructing the exercise of electoral rights;
  • 1 case of vote-buying;
  • 1 case involving possession of a bladed weapon at a polling station.

Materials related to these incidents have been transferred to investigative authorities.

Fourteen individuals have been detained in connection with the reported cases.

A total of 198 reports concerning suspected violations remain under review.

At the same time, authorities are also examining information related to the elections published in the media and on social media platforms.

According to data from the Migration and Citizenship Service, 1,650 people applied to be included in supplementary voter lists.

A total of 916 individuals received temporary identity documents (Form 9), which are issued by local authorities to enable participation in elections.

The Migration and Citizenship Service’s Call Center (84-22) received 820 calls related to the organization and conduct of the elections.

In addition, 1,250 citizens received consultations through the service’s regional offices and the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ mobile service units.
