Election complaints filed over polling stations

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Independent Observer initiative will seek to have the results of polling stations 12/13 and 35/65 annulled or to have repeat voting ordered at those locations. This was announced in a Facebook post by Daniel Ioannisyan.

“In precinct 12/13, on the grounds of the absence of ballot papers for the National Democratic Pole, and in precinct 35/65, on the grounds that hundreds of voters (military personnel) who were not present in the voting room at 8:00 p.m. were nevertheless recorded as having voted,” he wrote.

No further details were provided in the statement regarding the complaints or the procedure for reviewing them.

According to the results of the National Assembly elections, four political forces will be represented in the new parliament: the Civil Contract party, the Strong Armenia Alliance, the Armenia Alliance, and the Prosperous Armenia Party. The mandates will be distributed as follows: Civil Contract — 61 seats, Strong Armenia Alliance — 28 seats, Armenia Alliance — 11 seats, and Prosperous Armenia Party — 5 seats.
