The biggest issue during the parliamentary elections and the campaign preceding them was vote-buying, as well as Russian influence, according to Daniel Ioannisyan, a member of the Independent Observer mission, Factor.am reports.

Commenting on violations recorded on election day, Ioannisyan said the mission’s observers documented 156 cases of procedural violations, as well as 121 cases of monitoring or control-oriented actions that, however, did not result in breaches of ballot secrecy.

According to his presentation, observers also recorded:

• 122 cases involving violations of voting secrecy,
• 48 cases related to violations of presence rights or authority, including situations where the number of authorized representatives at polling stations exceeded the permitted limit,
• 59 cases involving election campaigning.

The observer mission also submitted four crime reports to the relevant authorities.

According to the latest preliminary results, votes were distributed as follows: Civil Contract — 49.825%, Strong Armenia — 23.281%, Armenia Alliance — 9.934%, and Prosperous Armenia — 3.996%. Under these updated figures, the Prosperous Armenia Party does not surpass the 4% threshold required for parliamentary representation.
