Armenia Alliance to announce next steps later

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenia Alliance is currently engaged in internal discussions and will issue a statement in the near future regarding its next steps and political approach, the opposition bloc said, according to Azatutyun.

Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the National Assembly representing the Armenia Alliance faction, thanked citizens who supported the bloc in a Facebook post.

“Dear compatriots, thank you for every vote cast in our favor and for the trust you placed in our team. We will continue our unwavering struggle for our homeland until victory.

We will speak more comprehensively about our future actions in the coming days,” Saghatelyan stated.

The political force led by Armenia’s second president, Robert Kocharyan, received 145,113 votes, or 9.934% of the vote, in the June 7 parliamentary elections, according to the preliminary results published by the Central Electoral Commission, thereby surpassing the threshold required to enter the National Assembly.
