Strong Armenia adds 508 votes

The Central Electoral Commission published recount data from district election commissions, covering voting results from 637 polling stations.

Under the recount, BHK’s votes increased by 147, the Armenia Alliance’s by 217, Strong Armenia’s by 508, and Civil Contract’s by 1,148.

The number of invalid ballots fell by 859, from 17,097.

In its summary, the CEC said the Reformists’ Party’s 14,56 votes decreased by 11. The Democratic Party “I Am Against Everyone” had 21,477 votes, down by 244. The Strong Armenia Alliance, comprising the Strong Armenia Party, New Era Party and United Armenians Party, had 340,088 votes, up by 508. The Armenian Republican Party had 30,807 votes, down by 117. The New Force Reformist Party had 25,624 votes, down by 21. The Wings of Unity Party had 33,644 votes, down by 56. The Prosperous Armenia Party had 58,378 votes, up by 147. The National Democratic Pole pan-Armenian Party had 5,485 votes, up by 5. Kochari: National Revival and Awakening of the Nation Party had 1,984 votes, up by 1. The Armenian National Congress party had 3,206 votes, down by 47. The Republic Party had 15,835 votes, up by 8. The Christian Democratic Party had 2,679 votes, unchanged. The Democratic Consolidation Party had 5,284 votes, down by 14. The Democracy, Law, Discipline Party had 26,567 votes, down by 819. The Civil Contract Party had 727,820 votes, up by 1,148. The Armenia Alliance of parties, comprising the Armenian Revolutionary Federation party and the Forward center-right party, had 145,113 votes, up by 217. The For the Republic: Defenders of Democracy Party had 6,750 votes, up by 18. The Bright Armenia Party had 7,258 votes, up by 55.

The total amount of inaccuracies increased by 230, from 1,279.

According to preliminary data, votes in the elections were distributed as follows: Civil Contract — 49.825%, Strong Armenia — 23.281%, Armenia Alliance — 9.934%, Prosperous Armenia — 3.996%. According to updated data, BHK does not pass the electoral threshold, which is 4% for a party, and the party has requested recounts at some polling stations.

Late on June 11, the CEC decided to invalidate the voting results at polling stations No. 10/51 and 35/65. As a result, BHK lost 213 votes overall, reducing its chances of crossing the 4% threshold needed to enter parliament.
