Armenia’s tax revenues and duties totaled 2.725 trillion drams in 2025, marking a 14 percent increase compared with the previous year, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Eduard Hakobyan said during a session of the National Assembly.
According to Hakobyan, tax revenues and duties exceeded both the original and revised budget targets, outperforming forecasts made for 2025, 1lurer.am reported.
“We recorded 14.5 percent growth in tax revenues and 11.6 percent growth in customs revenues. If we compare this with the broader economy and look at the tax-to-GDP ratio, we achieved a significant increase of 0.7 percentage points in that indicator,” he said.
Hakobyan noted that growth in tax and customs collections also had a positive impact on the tax-to-GDP ratio, contributing to a noticeable increase in the measure.
