CEC to allocate parliamentary mandates July 21

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Central Election Commission (CEC) is scheduled to convene on July 21 to complete the next stage of the 2026 parliamentary election process.

The agenda includes two items. The commission will first invalidate the registrations of parliamentary candidates who withdrew their candidacies or declined their mandates after appearing on the electoral lists of parties and alliances that participated in the June 7, 2026 National Assembly elections.

The CEC will then draw up the official protocol registering members of parliament and formally allocating parliamentary mandates.

The 9th convocation of the National Assembly will consist of three parliamentary factions. The Civil Contract party will hold 64 seats, the Strong Armenia alliance will receive 29 seats, and the Hayastan alliance will be represented by 12 lawmakers.
