Anti-corruption body fines Arzakantsyan![]() July 29, 2026 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Corruption Prevention Commission has imposed a total administrative fine of 600,000 drams on Tigran Arzakantsyan, a member of the governing body of the Strength of the Fatherland party, through three separate decisions. The announcement was made by the Commission, according to Panorama.am . The penalties were imposed because Arzakantsyan failed to submit the required asset and income declarations as of the date he became a member of the party's governing body, as well as for the 2023 and 2024 reporting years. Under the Commission's decisions, he was fined 200,000 drams for each of the three violations. The Commission also stated that Arzakantsyan had been duly notified but nevertheless did not submit the required declarations. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
