The recognition of that fact will be just for the sake of Turkey, President of Cyprus Dimitris Christofias told a news conference jointly organized with the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan in today Yerevan. "Cyprus, one of the first countries in the world recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide. If Turkey recognizes this fact, it shows that it is ready to listen to the neighboring countries," the President of Cyprus noted.
