First Yerevan ReAnimania festival becomes internationalSeptember 10, 2009 - 16:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - First Yerevan ReAnimania animated films festival will be held in Armenia from October 3 to 6, bringing together participants from over 31 countries, including France, Russia, Italy, Ukraine and Iran. "We are happy that the festival organized for the first ever time has become international," said Vrezh Kaysuni, director of the festival. The festival program includes 5 full-length and 100 short films, which will compete in the following nominations: Best full-length film, Best Diploma Work, Best short film, Best TV scenario. Special prizes are also envisaged. Two exhibitions dedicated to history of comics and Armenian animation art will open. Besides, the festival films will be screened in Dilijan. The festival is collaborating with Annecy animated films festival, Stuttgart festival, Aardman Studio, Galust Gulpenkian international folm festival, Golden Apricot film festival and others.
