Despite the fact that Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew is insufficiently informed of enmity between RA and its neighbors, he believes that normal relations should be established with neighboring states, which will allow for strengthening trade relations and common transit territories. The architect of Singapore's economic miracle noted that his country is also surrounded with Muslims yet Singapore never picked quarrels with them and even offered help when necessary.
