«A1+» COMPANY DIRECTOR READY TO ACCEPT PRESIDENT'S INVITATION FOR MEETINGApril 5, 2002 - 00:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the press conference of «A1+» TV company president Mesrop Movsisian took place. It should be reminded that April 2, the National commission on television and radio made a decision to give «Sharm» firm the 37-decimetric frequency, on which «A1+» had broadcasted before. The next day TV company's broadcasting was stopped and this is contrary to the law. Yesterday the illegality of this action was confirmed by the court for economic issues where «A1+» leadership had appealed. According to the law, 10 days is needed to meet engagements to solve all the technical questions concerned with the completion of the broadcasting. Nevertheless Movsisian stated he was not going to use the opportunity to recommence the broadcasting temporally given by the court. He told he intended to strive for the cancellation of the decision of the National commission on televisiona and radio. He also said he would appeal to international instances. Mesrop Movsisian noted he had agreed to meet with the President and to discuss the opportunities of recommencement of the company activity. It should be reminded that the meeting was the President's initiative. Robert Kocharian's administration has already sent the TV company the invitation for the meeting. «A1+» leader stated he would not like the current situation to be used by several political forces in their interests. «We do not intend to be involved in political games», he stated.
