Baku introduces its compromise option
Azerbaijan has not changed its stance on Karabakh conflict settlement, Azeri Deputy FM Araz Azimov said.
Azerbaijan's compromise, in his view, consists in granting Karabakh Armenians and Azeris high level of autonomy within Azerbaijani state. "Settlement process should be logically accompanied by liberation of occupied regions. We are for gradual liberation policy, but process should not be delayed for years. Lachin province is of high significance for entire region. So both Armenians and Azeris should use the route passing via that territory," 1news.az quotes Azimov as saying.
