The Northern avenue stipulated by the general plan developed in early 20-s by architecture academician Alexander Tamanian will join the theatre square and the Republic square. The investments in the construction are $ 150 million. The construction is planned to be finished in 2006. The project stipulates the construction of modern apartment and office buildings provided with central heating, continual water supply and underground garages.
