POLISH PRESIDENT VISITED ARMENIAN GENOCIDE MEMORIALNovember 15, 2001 - 21:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski visited the memorial of the Armenian genocide of 1915, where he laid a wreath to the perpetual fire, planted a tree in the memorial path and familiarized himself with the exposition of the genocide museum-institute. Before visiting the memorial the Polish President participated in opening of Armenian-Polish business forum. Today the meeting of Kwasniewski with students and the teaching staff of the Yerevan State University will be held. The President will give a lecture on the history of Armenian-Polish relations and he will be granted the degree of honorary doctor of the Yerevan State University.
