The Games will bring together over 500 young people of art (at the age of 10-25) from 30 countries, including Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

The competition will be held in 19 nominations of folk, classic and modern art.

The historical timeframe of the Delphic (Pythian) Games starts 582 BCE. But in 394 CE the Delphic Games were banned. In the first half of the 20th century, there was a move to revive the Pythian Games at Delphi again. Delphic festivals were held in Greece from 1927-1930. However, the World War II forced to suspend organization of the games.

The First Delphic Games of the New Era were organized by the National Delphic Council of Russia in Moscow in 2000. Currently, 63 countries are involved in the international Delphic movement. The International Delphic Committee is headquartered in Moscow.
