In this context, the Armenian expert specifically emphasized the conclusion of contract on the extension of Russian military base deployment in Armenia. As Markarov noted, the agreement should be viewed in terms of Armenia-Russia strategic relations, as well as regional stability preservation. “Regional security suggests potential development of economic cooperation, specifically transport infrastructure, implying collaboration with Iran.
