Marash embroideries exhibited in YerevanNovember 3, 2010 - 18:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Marash Embroideries exhibition was opened at Yerevan Museum of History to feature works of Armenian craftsmen from various cities of Cilician Armenia. Marash town of Cilicia has always been known for its school of embroidery. Yerevan Museum of History features over 80 samples of embroidery dated back to the 19th-20th centuries. The exhibition is organized by Marash union of compatriots, the RA consulate in Aleppo, RA National Academy of Sciences and Yerevan Museum of History.
