Parliamentary hearings on the bill submitted by the Government "About diplomatic service" were held today in the National Assembly of Armenia.As deputy foreign minister of Armenia Levon Mkrtchian who was presenting the document said, the adoption of the bill marks the beginning of a new stage in the work of the foreign policy department of Armenia. According to him, a wide range of questions, regulating the activity of the diplomatic service of the country have been included in the bill, and vectors of development have been specified. Deputy foreign minister noted that international experience, including that of western European and Baltic states, has been applied when elaborating the bill. Mkrtchian informed that Armenia's interests abroad are represented by 36 diplomatic representations, which are mainly financed by the donations of the Armenian communities.
