Switzerland dissatisfied with Armenia-Swiss modest turnover

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Switzerland possess the essential legislative arsenal for the development of bilateral cooperation, according to Swiss President.

As Micheline Calmy-Rey stated at joint news conference with her Armenian counterpart in Yerevan, “both sides have expressed a wish to intensify cooperation.”

“The legislative filed was prepared for the development of relations. Recently, agreements on protection of joint investments, as well as those on air transport were signed. We have satisfactory economic ties; still, the bilateral turnover volumes remain modest,” Ms. Calmy-Rey said, stressing the necessity of maximal use of existing potential.

She also expressed hope for further development of bilateral cooperation.
