Armenia interested in expansion of Swiss investments

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian-Swiss relations have entered a new era since Armenia regained independence, RA President said.

As Serzh Sargsyan stated at joint news conference with his Swiss counterpart Micheline Calmy-Rey, “we are interested in expanding Armenia-Switzerland cooperation, attracting Swiss investments to Armenia. Participation of Swiss companies in the development programs in Armenian spa towns, Tsakhkadzor, Jermuk and Tatev is a successful example of it.”

Armenian President thanked Switzerland for programs implemented in Armenia by Swiss Cooperation Office. The parties stressed the necessity of developing cooperation in the sphere of culture. “In April 2011, Armenia was invited as a guest to the 25th international book exhibition. I, in turn, was glad to invite Swiss President to Yerevan to participate in Yerevan 2012 –World Book Capital events,” Armenian leader stated.
