Sargsyan praises Yovanovitch’s contribution to development of Armenia-U.S tiesJune 4, 2011 - 15:17 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan hosted a farewell meeting with the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch, who is completing her diplomatic mission in Armenia. Ms. Yovanovitch thanked the Armenian leader for effective cooperation, noting significant progress in Armenia-U.S. relations. President Sargsyan, in turn, praised the Ambassador’s contribution to the development of bilateral ties, wishing her further success in diplomatic activity. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
