BlackBerry PlayBook to be shipped to 16 countries June 11, 2011 - 15:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Research in Motion has announced that its tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook, will be shipped to 16 countries outside of North America in the next 30 days. According to Mashable, the full list of countries includes the UK, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Australia, Venezuela, Spain, Germany, the UAE., Singapore, Mexico, France, Italy, India, Indonesia and Colombia. PlayBookhas good qualities, such as its web browser, camera and connectivity options. However, it is small 7-inch screen and has lack of apps for the device. The PlayBook became available in the U.S. and Canada in April 2011, priced at $500 (for the 16 GB version of the device), while the 32 GB and the 64 GB versions go for $600 and $700, respectively.
